Design of an acoustic emission sensing unit with wireless transmission function

  • 摘要: 为提高大型复杂设备结构健康检测的效率和检测精度,文章提出一种具有无线传输功能的声发射传感单元的设计:其硬件包括测量传感器、校准传感器和电路板等;通过上位机软件实现无线组网、信号的自动采集和实时传输等功能。对该传感单元的无线传输距离和检测灵敏度等指标进行了测试。结果表明:该传感单元可实现24 cm厚水泥墙遮挡下40 m距离或空旷环境下80 m距离的稳定数据传输;无线组网信号同步精度优于10 μs;能探测到碳钢板中8 m范围内0.286 m3/h的泄漏率。该设计方法对于大型装备的声发射检测工程应用有参考意义。

     

    Abstract: To improve the health detection efficiency and accuracy of large and complex equipment structure, a design of an acoustic emission sensing unit with wireless transmission function was proposed in this paper. The hardware of the sensing unit included measurement sensors, calibration sensors and circuit boards, etc. And the functions of wireless networking, signal automatic acquisition and real-time transmission were realized by the upper computer software. In addition, its wireless transmission distance and detection sensitivity were tested. The results show that the sensing unit can achieve stable data transmission at a distance of 40 m under the cover of 24 cm thick cement wall or 80 m in an open environment. The wireless networking signal synchronization accuracy is better than 10 μs. It can detect a leakage rate of 0.286 m3/h within a range of 8 meters in carbon steel plate. The proposed design method may provide a reference for the application of acoustic emission detection engineering in large-scale equipment.
