线圈磁传感器的发展现状与空间应用

Development of magnetic coil sensor and its application in space missions

  • 摘要: 基于电磁感应的线圈磁传感器由于其灵敏度高、工作原理简单、性能可靠,在空间微弱磁场测量方面获得广泛应用。文章介绍了线圈磁传感器性能提高的几项主要技术及其基本原理,以及线圈磁传感器的发展及空间应用现状。通过采用优化设计磁芯,改善线圈结构以及与其他类型磁传感器协同工作等技术,线圈磁传感器的性能已经获得极大提高。随着这些技术的进一步完善,线圈磁传感器将在未来空间环境探测领域中发挥更加重要的作用。

     

    Abstract: The search coil magnetometers (SCMs) are based on the electromagnetic induction effect, with their good sensitivity, simplicity and high reliability, they are widely used in weak magnetic field investigations in the space missions. This paper reviews the main techniques and the related working principles in improving the performance of SCMs. The development of the SCMs and the applications in the space missions are discussed. By adopting a magnetic core, optimizing the coil structure and combining with another type of magnetic sensors, the performance of the newly designed SCMs are significantly improved. With the development of these techniques, the SCMs will have the potential of wide applications in the future space explorations.
